Do's & Don'ts While Bursting Crackers

✅ Do’s:
Use fireworks only outdoors in open and safe areas.

Purchase crackers only from authorized and reputable manufacturers.

Light only one firework at a time, and assign one person for lighting while others maintain a safe distance.

Do not accept parcels in damaged condition. We take every effort to ensure your order is delivered safely and securely.

Store unused fireworks in a safe and dry place, away from fire sources.

Whenever possible, organize a community fireworks display instead of individuals lighting crackers.

Always use a long-handled candle or “phooljhari” to ignite crackers. Keep your arm extended straight to maintain distance.

Keep two buckets of water nearby. A small flame can be extinguished quickly before it grows.

In case of minor burns, pour plenty of clean water over the affected area.

For major burns, extinguish fire carefully, remove smoldering clothes, and wrap the person in a clean cloth or bedsheet.

Immediately take the injured person to a burns specialist or major hospital—stay calm and act swiftly.

For eye injuries, wash with clean water for 10 minutes and consult a doctor without delay.

❌ Don’ts:
Do not ignite fireworks while holding them in your hand.

Never bend over a firework while lighting it.

Do not light crackers inside containers of any kind.

Do not approach or relight misfired fireworks—wait and handle with caution.

Never try to tamper with or fix faulty fireworks.

Do not make crackers at home under any circumstances.

Keep small children away from handling fireworks.

Avoid throwing or pointing crackers toward people or animals.

Do not carry fireworks in your pockets—it’s extremely dangerous.

Keep crackers away from open flames like candles or diyas.

Avoid lighting fireworks in narrow streets—prefer open spaces or parks.

Do not wear synthetic clothing—choose thick cotton garments for safety.

Avoid loose and flowing clothes—make sure all garments are secured.

Do not apply creams, ointments, or oils on burns before consulting a doctor.

If you're transporting a burn victim, drive safely. A slight delay is better than causing more harm through haste.
